It’s gift giving season – what books are on your list?

For many, the holidays are stressful because finding the right gift for someone can be really hard. One of my favorite things to give, or receive, are books. Snuggling up under a blanket with a cup of tea, a biscuit, and a good book on a rainy day (yes, it does rain and can get cold in Hawaii) is one of my favorite pastimes.

As we get closer to the holidays this short list of books might come in handy and make shopping easier for you. On top of my list, of course, is…

The Elder Care Playbook

This book might not be the “sexiest” of all books but it is for sure the most useful for any family. It’s a thoughtful gift you can give your parent and yourself, your siblings and relatives.

My other recommendations range from murder mystery to epic novel. Check them out:

This is not your granny's walker!

This walker is a bit pricey but the steering and rolling comfort makes it easy to use. Note: most people push it like a shopping cart. That is wrong. The correct way is to stand upright and not lean forward. If you don't know how to use it have a nurse show you.
